Professional Background

Andrew focuses his practice on estate and trust planning and administration. He handles matters involving wills, trusts, probate and administration proceedings, and estate and trust litigation. His work regularly intersects with estate and gift tax planning, Medicaid planning, guardianships, charitable giving, and business succession planning. Andrew also assists clients with advanced health care directives, powers of attorney, and other foundational documents that round out the estate plan. 

Before joining Zimmet, Andrew served as a Trust Officer with Wilmington Trust (M&T Bank) and as a Principal Law Clerk in the New York State Supreme Court. His fiduciary experience includes administering revocable and irrevocable family trusts, insurance trusts (ILITs), special needs trusts, and charitable lead and remainder trusts. 

Andrew holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Bankers Association.
